A 5-day course for Intermediate French Learners!
What to Expect for this French Intensive Week
The most fun french classes to finally open your french chakras. From 9 to 12 Monday to Friday, we’ll do hundreds of little activities until you get USED TO interact in French. We’ll play, we’ll debate, we’ll learn, we’ll create, we’ll sing (nothing mandatory ahahah), we’ll LIVE in french.
❋ Speaking A LOT
Because your one-hour a week of french practice hasn’t been enough, we’ll STACK UP the repetitions. The POWER of being immersed like this and actually speaking non-stop for 3 hours a day is incredible. We’re adding the quantity.
❋ Overpassing the fears
Switching your mindset is key. We’ll explore what it really takes to have conversations with french people. The theory AND the practice. Because your level isn’t the real problem. We’re awaking your personality in french.
❋ Exploring the "real" french
The culture and the slang that all french people WILL use. You don’t need to speak with it but you need to understand it. We’re starting to navigate all that while being ok with not knowing it all. (spoiler alert: no one does, you’re always the boomer of someone).
❋ Socializing in french
This is not your traditionnal french class. Yes, you’ll be corrected but we’re not focusing on grammar, we’re focusing on making you speak. That might include field-trips in Grenoble and hanging out with frenchies. This is a french learning EXPERIENCE. We’re living in the language.

Monday to Friday, 9AM to 12. (5× 3 hours)
At Pilgrim Coffee House - Grenoble (which will be closed, just for us)
300€ for the week (including material)

Intermediate french learners that struggle with fluidity speaking. It is hard to give an exact level but around B1 I could say. Which means nothing as people have different levels in reading/writing/grammar/speaking etc.
A former participatn said “I would highly recommend this to anyone living in Grenoble or nearby who does not get many chances to speak French in their everyday life. It's very worth it. Will do it again!”

My students could maybe answer better! One wrote in her feedback form “Excellent explanations of French language without unnecessary over emphasis of grammar.” and another one said “I love that it’s less about grammar and more about thinking and speaking like French people.”
So indeed, grammar is not the focus of this Intensive French Course. The focus is making you more confident in conversations with french people. We’ll train to speak faster, without translating or stressing out, using all the french you already have. That being said, you will be corrected often and grammar is part of everything we say.

This Grenoble Intensive Week is like no other. You don’t get a certificate or an official level. You get the calmness of knowing you can handle any situation in french despite your level. You get the opportunity to start socializing in Grenoble in FRENCH without freezing everytime someone asks you a question. You get to be yourself in french, finally.
This is priceless, this is not a level. This feeling can’t be measured.
